Thoughtful Thank You Note

Thoughtful Thank You Note

November 2nd, 2021

Our Assistant Residence Director, Jaime, recently received a thank you note from one of our community members, which we always love!

“I wanted to send a compliment for Dean because for anything that needs repair, he does it right away (even though I always say ‘no rush’ in my notes to him). Additionally, I recently had Sean assist me with a light bulb change and he has a friendly personality and accomplishes whatever needs repair.

Both Dean and Shawn were here this morning to replace the light fixture over my kitchen sink. Not only is it terrific
having light again over the sink, it was also enjoyable being able to chat with both of them.

You are also so caring and have a loving personality, Jaime, and I always enjoy talking with you.” – Carol G.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Carol. We take pride in going above and beyond for those who call our community home, and it’s always amazing to hear when it shows.

Heartwarming Thank You Notes

November 23rd, 2020
Heartwarming thank you notes.

Staff at The Villas of Oak Park recently received some heartwarming thank you notes from our residents, which we always love!

This note was sent by one of our resident couples:

“We are so grateful for the work you do and for your diligence during this past year. We appreciate the risk you all take for yourselves and your families when you come to work each day and care for us. Your smiles and your helpfulness mean a lot. May you have a joyful holiday and God bless each of you!” -Jon and Rita S.

We focus on making a difference in the lives of our community members every day, and we’re so happy to hear when it shows. Thank you so much for the kind, thoughtful words, Jon and Rita!

Our Residence Director, Terri Pratt, received another letter of gratitude from one of the newer community members here at The Villas of Oak Park:

“I wanted to thank you for all you do to keep our residents and staff safe during this crazy time. Not many people realize how stressful it must be for you as a manager to remain calm, handling day-to-day COVID challenges along with your regular duties and responsibilities without ever stumbling as you face each hurdle.

I couldn’t have moved into The Villas at a more complicated time. Due to COVID safety regulations, it’s very difficult to socialize, get to know my new neighbors, and re-establish relationships with so many old friends in the community. However, I’ve been handling the transition quite well, and I attribute much of that to you and the entire staff. I especially include Jamie in that group.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts I always feel informed and very safe here. I am so grateful that you all have made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Thank you, again, for caring!” -Jeanne C.

Thank you so much for the kind, thoughtful words, Jeanne! We understand how difficult it is to transition to a new home, especially during these unprecedented times. We do everything we can to make joining our community as safe, smooth, and comforting as possible. We are SO glad to hear you are feeling comfy and welcome here at The Villas!

Heartwarming Message of Gratitude

June 26th, 2020

Our Residence Director, Terri, and Assistant Residence Director, Jaime, recently received a heartwarming message of gratitude, which we always love!

“I have been the head of staff at very large congregations and my wife was director of two Section 8 facilities for elderly. We are quite sensitive to the demands of large groups. Before my wife was executive of both facilities, one in Indiana and one in California, she was an activities director at a large retirement facility. She used to share with me that her responsibility in such a large retirement area was to keep the people involved in activities so that their concerns and complaints were minimized.

All this is to thank both of you for the continued communication and care you provide at The Villas of Oak Park. Your constant information keeps us all informed and your personal response to any specific needs is incredibly competent. So as we continue through this difficult time, I want to let you know how many of us feel quite secure thanks to your efforts.

May God bless you and your families as we all work through this time of COVID-19.” -The Rev. Dr. H. Ken McCullen

Thank you so much for the kind words and thoughts!

Resident Thank You for Dean

May 29th, 2020

A resident recently took the time to send an email expressing her thanks. We appreciate it so much!

“I just wanted you to know what a terrific job that Dean did on replacing my patio blinds. He is so professional, and he is personable and friendly while he works. The one he removed would not slide open and was falling apart.

This senior living housing is so fortunate to have him as the lead maintenance employee. We who live here are also fortunate to have him, for he does excellent performance of whatever we need repaired.”

– Carol G.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and raised funds.

We had an awesome year. Together we raised more than $60,000 to help fight this horrible disease. We truly could not do this without all of you.
