Our residents' days are filled with choices for interesting and lively interaction.
The Villas of Oak Park provides a wide range of activities to keep our residents on their toes. From strength training workouts and holiday parties to baking cookies and summer bonfires, our days are packed with opportunities for camaraderie and life enrichment. Our Independent Living residents come together to learn new skills, develop close friendships, connect on a spiritual level and share a few laughs.
Sue works hard to ensure each day is fun and rewarding for our tenants at Oak Park Senior Living. Sue attended Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, Minnesota and earned NCCAP certification before joining Oak Park in 2016. Sue’s inspiration to become an activities director began after she visited her grandfather in a nursing home and noticed how proud he was to show off his bowling trophy and latest art projects. As Activities Director at Oak Park, Sue enjoys listening to our tenants’ stories and learning about their families. Sue strives to make a positive impact in the lives of our seniors and always tells people that she has the best job in the world!

The best part of our experience was the staff.
I hope you know how comforting it was when we all walked away and knew they were cared for. The gals in the Memory Unit do their work like they love the residents. That is something that cannot be taught, it comes from within their hearts - The nursing staff, housekeeping and maintenance & kitchen also are all outstanding also.
Thanks for the good experience!
